The SMART Veterinary Clinic Ltd – Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinic.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about rehabilitation and treatment modalities that help us to reduce pain and restore function in our patients. Additional qualifications are advantageous, especially within the rehabilitation and pain management field, but are not essential. Some experience in a general practice setting is essential. An interest in Canine Sports Medicine would also be advantageous.
You will be expected to work with other veterinary surgeons, physiotherapists, and support staff to manage our patient caseload. The clinics have a varied case load including complex neurological, orthopaedic and chronic pain cases. Diagnostic facilities include a Gait 4 pressure mat system, thermography and dedicated musculoskeletal ultrasound unit. The successful candidate will be provided with training on all of these diagnostic tools.
The successful candidate will be provided with full training, (to include acupuncture certification with the ABVA if needed), 1 to 1 mentoring with senior veterinary surgeons, and ongoing CPD funding and support for career progression.
Up to 40 hours/week, part time considered, no nights or weekends or OOH. We offer a company pension scheme, CPD funding and paid time, a 4 day working week, and a competitive salary depending on experience.
